The laboratory is well-structured, airy, spacious, well-lit and replete with all the required equipments and tools. The materials are in abundance to allow each child to freely exploring the secrecies of living organisms and sort out theoretical difficulties through experimentation.
Students engage in lively and interesting experiments like grafting, germination process and chromatography in this lab. Dissection of plants and vegetables is received with much enthusiasm as students get use microscopes and other equipment that they would not normally use to view the living world.

Biology as a science instills a deeper and profound interest in the domain of living things. The experiments conducted in the laboratory combine with the classroom teaching to achieve the best results for the students.
SBV has sophisticated Physics laboratory with the latest state of the art facilities that equip the students to have hands on experience. The flat topped tables used as students workstations allow multiple arrangements and combinations for laboratory work and small group activities.
The equipment ranges from the commonly found lens, magnet, beam balance, spring balance, and glass prism to the advanced apparatus like voltmeter, ammeter and resistors and spectrometers to name a few. The laboratory reinforces the knowledge acquired tin the theory class by emphasizing on the fundamental concepts of Physics. Moreover, it makes them realize the importance of direct observation as compared to inference based on theory. It helps the students develop a broad array of basic skills especially experimental and analytical skills, and a general understanding of the tools of experimental physics and data analysis.
Chemistry is often perceived as complicated and even boring. At our school, learning chemistry is super fun! It is a place to explore, enjoy and also understand the responsibility of treating equipment and chemicals with the care and attention they deserve.

Our teachers and staff are well trained in the safety procedures necessary in the laboratory. The Teachers are highly trained to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning not just in theory but by applying it practically.
SBV has two well equipped computer labs for three different sections. Professionally qualified computer teachers run these labs. Each lab has 25 computers. Hence each child gets access to the computer during his computer session.
Pre-Primary children learn through educational games, puzzles and quizzes using computer. The computer lab is open to students for projects, research, presentations and assignments. On most days the lab is a hub of inter-disciplinary activity; it’s easy accessibility has made study and work interesting and challenging with the students trying to excel.
SBV has established a well equipped Mathematics laboratory. It is a place where learning becomes fun. The laboratory approach of teaching mathematics provides students with the opportunity to understand and discover the beauty, importance and relevance of mathematics as a discipline.
The Maths lab comprises of a variety of mathematical teaching aids in the form of models, games, charts, CDs, books etc., useful for effective learning.The focus of learning is on developing number sense, spatial sense, recognition of patterns and gradually to attend the problems with algorithm and abstraction. Teachers emphasize on mathematical process which helps the child to imbibe concepts using concrete materials, problem solving with real life situations, reasoning, reflecting and connecting, selecting appropriate computational tools, strategies and use of mathematical vocabulary.
